It's pretty loosy goosy and almost impossible to fuck up. It's meant to simmer beside the fire while you throw in whatever you hunt or gather so it's never really gone.
Tonight I used white tail deer, Polish sausage, and smoked pork belly. I added smoked paprika and extra bay leaf and subbed a crappy rosé for the white wine.
I'll see how it turns out tomorrow.
